Question 1:

Is Riffmaster Pro licensed for one computer only or can I
load it on another computer like my laptop?

Your purchase of Riffmaster Pro comes with two licenses for two machines.

When purchasing the Mac version allows you two licenses for Mac.

Purchasing the Windows version allows for two licenses for windows.

For Mac second install please email support@riffmasterpro.com

For Windows second install please follow direction below

After you have registered on you first machine you can use the same install
file on the additional computer.

1. install on your computer click on the desk top icon
and choose option “install to additional computer”

2.enter your details and register and you will be sent a new registration key

Please note you can only use the additional computer option if you have purchased
a license and you have your main install working

Question 2:

Is Riffmaster Pro compatible with Windows 7?

Yes Riffmaster Pro works on windows 7
you will just need to set a permission (details in the install)
The same process as Vista (ggrrrrr vista)

Question 3:

Where are the bonus packs that come with the software?

The bonus packs are downloadable directly after purchase.
If you have lost the link please email support@riffmasterpro.com
with your order receipt number and we will resend you the link

Question 4:

Is Riffmaster Pro delivered on a CD or digital download?

To make it economical for you the customer the Riffmaster Pro
software is a digital download directly after purchase.
You can make a back up copy to cd in case of a computer crash.

can I pay with paypal?

Yes we have a paypal option. Click the add to cart button
and you will have a choice on how to pay.

Question 6:

My computer hard drive crashed and I lost Riffmaster Pro can I
get it again with out paying for a new license

Yes you can re-install to the same computer very simply
Please email support@riffmasterpro.com with your name and order receipt number.
Re-installs are free of charge to registered users for a 12 month
period from date of purchase.

Is there an update for the current release?

Are updates free of charge?

MINOR updates are free of charge to registered users for a 12 month
period from date of purchase.

MAJOR upgrades are charged at a smaller % of the sale price to
registered users.

Is Riffmaster Pro easy to use?

Yes, the RMP team designed the RiffMaster Pro with ease of use in mind. The user interface is very simple to work and you will be playing with RMP within seconds.

Question 10:

What audio files will RiffMaster Pro 2 play?

RMP now plays Mp3′s, Wav, Mp4, Wma (windows), Ogg Vorbis and AFF

Question 11:

How slow can Riffmaster Pro play a song or guitar lick?

RMP slows down any audio from 99% down to 20% of the original speed of the song.

Question 12:

I don’t Play the guitar how can Riffmaster Pro help me?

Riffmaster Pro is not JUST for guitarists, its use is universal, regardless of your instrument, your skill level, or the type or gender of music you play.

This software is an invaluable tool for any musician because it enables you to slow down a song so you can hear not only WHAT is being played but the nuances of HOW it is being played.

Question 13:

Can I play a cd with RMP?

RMP 2 has a cd rip function which means you can extract a song from a cd placed in your computer disc drive save to mp3 or wav with RMP. RMP will then automatically make the new file available to slow down, loop or change pitch.

Question 14:

Can I save the slowed down files?

Yes you can. RMP has a save function you can save the slowed down music file at any speed you wish to (saves as mp3 or wav). This means you can save various speeds of a song so you can burn to cd or use as speed training.

Question 15:

Will RMP play music purchased from itunes?

In the Mac version of RMP you can play most* files in itunes

For the Windows version – you can play some* files in itunes

(see below)

*If you are trying to load mp4 songs purchased through iTunes. The riffmaster pro like all other MP3/4 players will not play songs purchased through iTunes because of the DRM protection that Apple uses.

To solve this issue you can do either of these

1. Try this easy to use DRM stripping software

This allows iTunes songs to be played with Riffmaster Pro

OR

2.burn the tracks from itunes onto an audio cd and then rip with RMP. to rip a song from a cd

1. place cd in computer
2. open Riffmaster pro
3. click the “cd icon” on RMP
4. choose the track you wish to import click “select”
5. RMP will ask you to save the name and save the file.
6. once this is done rmp will import the track for you to use.

Question 16:

Will RMP work on Windows 7 and  Vista?

Yes RMP works on all Windows Platforms including Windows Vista. (Vista – grrrrrr)

Will RMP work on a mac OS X?

Yes Riffmaster Pro for Mac OS X 10.5 and above

If I am beginning guitar an I don’t really know how to play how can RMP help me?

RMP is specifically designed to help you in training your ear so you can be a better musician. To play guitar well one must train the ear to “hear” the notes.
